Tusculum’s Anteneh Lemma Named Men’s Soccer Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. ­- Tusculum College midfielder Anteneh Lemma has been named the Men's Soccer Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Lemma, a senior from Stockholm, Sweden, led the No. 12 Pioneers to a key 2-1 victory over regional stalwart Lander University on Saturday night, tallying three points to pace the Tusculum attack.

The 2008 NSCAA/Adidas Division II All-America Second Team selection notched an assist on Lucas Paulini's equalizer early in the second half, and scored the match-winner midway through the 83rd minute for his first goal of the season.

Lemma is currently second on the team with three assists, and is tied for fourth with five points.
