Carson-Newman took a 1-0 victory in their regular-season matchup.
Wingate University and Lincoln Memorial University tied for second in the conference standings. Wingate earned the second seed by virtue of its 2-1 victory over LMU on Saturday.
The Bulldogs (6-1-1 SAC, 11-3-1 overall) will face seventh-seed Newberry College (2-6, 3-13-2) on Tuesday. Wingate beat Newberry 3-1 in their regular-season meeting.
