Mars Hill’s Osterloh Named Men’s Soccer Player Of The Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill College forward Richard Osterloh is this week's South Atlantic Conference men's soccer Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday afternoon. He wins the award for the second week in a row.
Osterloh, a freshman from Sao Paulo, Brazil, scored both of Mars Hill's goals in a 2-2 conference tie with Newberry.
Osterloh now has six goals on the season in only four games. As a team, Mars Hill has outscored its first four opponents 13-4.
Mars Hill remained unbeaten at 3-0-1 overall. The Lions are now 0-0-1 in the South Atlantic Conference.
The Lions are currently ranked eighth in the NCAA Division II
Southeast Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of
America.
