Mars Hill’s Zac Scott Named Men’s Soccer Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. ­- Mars Hill College goalkeeper Zac Scott is this week's South Atlantic Conference men's soccer Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday afternoon.

Scott, a sophomore from Pittsboro, N.C., posted two shutouts against No. 7-ranked Wingate and Coker, ranked fifth in the Southeast Region, during the previous week as Mars Hill remained unbeaten at 5-0-1 and 1-0-1 in the SAC.

He made seven saves for the Lions against Coker and three saves against the Bulldogs. In 2010, Scott has made 21 saves and given up only three goals in six games.
