Mars Hill’s Zac Scott Named Men’s Soccer Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. ­- Mars Hill College goalkeeper Zac Scott is this week's South Atlantic Conference men's soccer Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday afternoon.

Scott wins the award for the second time this season.

Scott, a sophomore from Pittsboro, N.C., posted two shutouts against Lenoir-Rhyne and King as the Mars Hill men's soccer team improved to 11-1-1 overall, 5-1-1 in the South Atlantic Conference.

He recorded seven saves against the Bears and six saves versus the Tornados. Scott has six shutouts, including three against conference teams, in 2010.
