The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week, Nov. 2
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial forward Danilo da Silva has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for games played Oct. 26 - Nov. 1, the League announced today.
Da Silva, a junior from Campinas, Brazil, put away two goals last week, helping the Railsplitters earn a No. 3 seed heading into the SAC Championship tournament. Off an Henrique Rezek assist, the junior posted goal number four for the season to put the Railsplitters on the board first. After Catawba tied the match, da Silva recorded an unassisted goal at the 39th minute to bring Lincoln Memorial up 2-1 as The Railsplitters claimed a 3-2 victory. The award is his first Player of the Week plaudit this season.
