Anderson's Cox-Ashwood Named United Soccer Coaches Division II Men's Soccer National Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) –  Anderson forward Alexandre Cox-Ashwood was named the United Soccer Coaches Division II Men's Soccer National Player of the Week, the association announced on Wednesday (Sept. 15). 

Cox-Ashwood, a senior from Wittenheim, France, was named the SAC Offensive Player of the Week early this week after leading the Trojans to a pair of non-conference victories over Mount Olive (3-2) and Lander (5-2). He scored two goals in the win over Mount Olive and added a hat trick and an assist to his weekly total in the win over Lander. For the week, Cox-Ashwood finished with five goals and an assist for 11 points.
