The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf Men's Soccer Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Soccer Players of the Week for matches played during the tenth week of the 2021 season.  Limestone forward Angelo Fabricio was named the offensive player of the week, while Lenoir-Rhyne defender Dani Fernandez was named defensive player of the week.

Fabricio, a senior from Jundiai, Brazil, tailed four points, scoring a goal with two assists in the Saints' 4-1 win over Lincoln Memorial in their regular season finale last week. He scored the go-ahead goal in the first and then dished out two assists in the second half, including an assist on the game-winning goal.

Fernandez, a senior from Madrid, Spain, anchored the Bears' defense as they shutout Carson-Newman 2-0 in the regular season finale last week. In addition to keeping the Bears off the scoreboard, Fernandez scored the game-winning goal.
