Limestone Earns No. 1 Seed in NCAA DII Men's Soccer Super Region 2; Wingate, Lincoln Memorial and Lenoir-Rhyne Earn Bids
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The Limestone Saints, Wingate Bulldogs, Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters and Lenoir-Rhyne Bears will all represent the South Atlantic Conference in the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Super Region 2, the NCAA announced today.
Limestone earned the No.1 seed in Super Region 2, while Wingate earned the No. 3 seed, Lincoln Memorial earned the No. 5 seed, and Lenoir-Rhyne earned the No. 9 seed.
Lenoir-Rhyne will play Clayton State in the first round on Thursday, November 16th in Gaffney, S.C. The winner of that match will advance to the second round and face Limestone on Saturday, November 18th.
Lincoln Memorial will face Barry on Saturday, November 18th in Miami Shores, Fla.
Wingate will host West Florida on Saturday, November 18th in Wingate, N.C.
The 2023 DII men's soccer national championship final will take place on Saturday, December 9th at the Matthews Sportsplex in Matthews, N.C.
