Anderson Holds at No. 4, Catawba Enters at No. 13 in National Men's Soccer Rankings
ROCK HILL, S.C. (theSAC.com) -- The Anderson Trojans have remained at No. 4 for the second straight week in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) National Poll as released by the organization today. Catawba made the third-biggest jump in the national poll, going from unranked to No. 13.
The Trojans went 1-0-1 last week and didn't conceded a goal. AU tied Montevallo before grabbing a 1-0 win on a 62-yard strike by Adrian Castillo. For the year, Anderson is 3-0-1 and travel to Mars Hill on Friday.
Catawba has won three straight, including a 2-1 win in the SAC opener against Carson-Newman over the weekend. The Catawba Indians return to action on Saturday when they host Lincoln Memorial.
