The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, Mar. 9

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson's Juan Carracedo has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played March 2-9, the League announced today.

Carracedo, a sophomore from Buenos Aires, Argentina, earned three singles wins for the Trojans last week.  He got his week started with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Jason Harris of Erskine at the No. 2 flight on March 2.  Two days later against Queens, he notched a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Jules Athalis in the No. 2 flight.  He closed his week out with a 7-5, 6-1 No. 2 singles win against Nic Planchard of Tusculum on March 7.  The award is his first Player of the Week selection this season.

Also nominated for Men's Tennis Player of the Week: Lukas Winklemann (Tusculum), Per-Erik Soler (Queens) and Amir Zari (Wingate).
