Anderson's Brown Named AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson's Spencer Brown has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played February 18 through February 24, the Conference announced today.

Brown, a sophomore from Spartanburg, S.C., had to step out of his comfort zone last week and take the roll of No. 1 on the Anderson tennis team. He stepped up challenge winning both singles and doubles at No. 1 versus USC Aiken. Brown and partner Adam Kush were victorious at No.1 doubles, and Brown picked up a hard fought three-set win at No. 1 singles.

This is Brown's first Player of the Week selection this season.
