Wingate's Walcher Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate's Florian Walcher has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week three of the 2022 season, the Conference announced today.

Walcher, a freshman from Austria, won in straight sets at No. 1 singles  7-5, 6-4  against Mount Olive, while teaming with Luka Brown for a 6-2 victory at No. 2 doubles for the #24 Bulldogs; rolling to a 6-1 win over the weekend.

This is Walcher's  first Player of the Week selection this season.
