ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill College's Justin Gragg and Lenoir-Rhyne University's Kate Griewisch have been named the South Atlantic Conference men's and women's cross country Runners of the Week for the week ending September 19, 2010.

Gragg, a junior from Lenoir, N.C., won the Asics/Winthrop Cross Country Invitational. Gragg recorded a time of 25:49.58. The Mars Hill men's cross country team also won the 8k race and posted the top three finishers.

Griewisch, a junior from Banner Elk, N.C. (Avery County HS) finished second out of 52 runners Saturday in the Elon Invitational in Elon, N.C. Griewisch, a 2009 NCAA Division II All-American and the South Atlantic Conference and Southeast Regional Runner of the Year, ran an 18:11 over 5K and finished just six seconds behind the winner, UNC Greensboro's Ashley Schnell.
