Tusculum's Cronin Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the week of Sept. 4 through Sept. 9. Tusculum's Will Cronin was named the runner of the week.

Cronin, a sophomore from Greeneville, Tenn., posted a winning time of 16:34.1 and led the Pioneers to a first place finish at the Zaxby's Open last week. Cronin's victory is the first for a Tusculum runner since 2012, while the team win is the ninth meet championship in program history.

This is Cronin's first Runner of the Week honor this season.
