Queens Raftis Named South Atlantic Conference Astroturf Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com)– The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week in meets competed in during the fourth week of the 2019 season. Queens Anthony Raftis was named the runner of the week.
Raftis, a senior all-American from Kent, Wash. competed in the Capital Cross Challenge in Sacramento, Calif. this past weekend, where he placed 16th in the men's 8k with a time of 24:30.7. He also helped lead 19th-ranked Royals to a fourth-place finish overall.
This is Raftis' second Runner of the Week honor for the 2019 season.
