The South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Cross Country Runners of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Cross Country Runners of the Week for meets competed in during the second week of the 2024 season. Catawba's Madi Clay was named the Women's Runner of the Week while Anderson's  Elliot Dotson was named the Men's Runner of the Week.

Clay finished third at the Converse Invitational with a time of 21:57.8. The Junior from Morganton, N.C., led #26 Catawba to a second-place finish in the meet.

Dotson, a sophomore from Greenville, S.C., won the Southeast Regional Preview in Spartanburg with a time of 24:21. The first-place finish led Anderson to a team victory at the meet.
