L-R’s Fellmeth, Millwood Earn SAC Softball Weekly Awards
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Junior Jessica Fellmeth and senior Dawon Millwood, a pair of Lenoir-Rhyne student-athletes, have received the SAC's weekly softball awards, it was announced on Monday.
Fellmeth - a first baseman -- earned SAC Player of the Week honors, while Millwood was named the league's Pitcher of the Week.
Fellmeth hit .471 in six games last week, finishing with eight hits and 15 RBI. Of the eight hits, six were home runs - including three on March 10 in a 9-0 L-R victory over Anderson.
The Waxhaw, N.C., native also drew two walks and scored six runs on the week.

Millwood made four starts last week, going 3-1 with a 0.73 ERA.
Her best performance came on Thursday at Catawba, where she threw
seven shutout innings while striking out six in a 1-0 Bears
victory.
On the week, Millwood totaled 17 strikeouts in 28.2 innings pitched and allowed just six extra-base hits.
