LMU’s Snow, Catawba’s Murray Named SAC Softball Weekly Award Winners
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Lincoln Memorial's Amanda Snow has been selected as the SAC Softball Player of the Week, while Catawba's Brittany Murray has been named SAC Pitcher of the Week for games between March 26-April 1, it was announced by the SAC office on Monday.
Snow showed her versatility as she paced the Lady Railsplitters at the plate and in the circle this week. The freshman finished the week with a double, four home runs, 12 runs batted in and a .529 batting average. In addition to her offensive surge, she also threw 12.1 innings for the week, striking out six batters and ending with a 1.70 ERA.

Murray tallied two complete-game victories this week for the Lady
Indians, as she struck out nine batters and finished with a 0.50
ERA. The senior's highlight for the week was against Tusculum,
where she gave up just two hits and struck out five in a 4-0
shutout victory over the Pioneers. Murray is now undefeated in
conference games and is 11-7 for the season.
