The South Atlantic Conference Earns 11 DII CCA Softball All-Region Honorees

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference placed 10 softball players on the 2016 DII CCA Softball All-Region Teams, the organization announced today.  The League posted six players on the first team, while earning four second-team honorees.  Below is a look at the SAC softball student-athletes who earned the honor.

 

First Team
 C - Taylor Laskey, Wingate
SS - Madison Carter,  Lenoir-Rhyne
OF - Erin Boone,  Lenoir-Rhyne
DP -  Mackenzie Cates ,  Lenoir-Rhyne
UTL - Mellena Helms, Wingate
P -  Carley Tysinger, Catawba

Second Team
 C - Caliah Niles, Anderson
3B - Misty Doran, Wingate
DP - Taylor Lail, Mars Hill
P - Stacey Houser, Wingate
P - Maryann Hoskins, Lenoir-Rhyne
