Lincoln Memorial Softball Ranked at No. 13 in NFCA Division II Top 25 Preseason Coaches Poll
Rock Hill, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their 2020 NFCA Division II Top 25 Preseason Coaches' Poll today (Jan. 22). Lincoln Memorial found themselves among the intuitions ranked at No. 13.
The Railspliters collected 191 points after finishing their 2019 season with a 38-15 record overall and 12-8 in SAC play to finish at the top of the conference in the regular season. Lincoln Memorial earned a bid to the 2019 NCAA Division II Softball Southeast Regional where they fell to Young Harris in the Regional Final.
The 2020 NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches with two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. Records are from the conclusion of the 2019 season.
