Wingate, Lenoir-Rhyne, and Carson-Newman Ranked in NFCA DII Top-25 Coaches Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll today (March 14). The 2023 NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches with two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. The poll will be released each Tuesday at noon ET.
Three South Atlantic Conference programs were among the top 25; Wingate was ranked at No. 18, Lenoir-Rhyne at No. 23, and Carson-Newman at No. 24. This was Lenoir-Rhyne's first top-25 appearance of 2023.
Overall, Wingate has a record of 23-6, Lenoir-Rhyne is 21-3, and Carson-Newman is 21-5.
