Rain Alters SAC Softball Championship Opening Round at Lenoir-Rhyne

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Due to inclement weather the SAC Softball Championship Opening Round games at Lenoir-Rhyne scheduled for Thursday, April 27, have been postponed.

Games will resume on Friday, April 28 beginning at 11 a.m. with four games scheduled to be played at Lenoir-Rhyne's Bears Field.

Below is the schedule of games for the remainder of the tournament at Lenoir-Rhyne.

Friday, April 28 (Hickory, N.C.)

Game 1: #6 Catawba vs #3 Lincoln Memorial, 11:00 a.m.
Game 2: #7 Limestone vs #2 Lenoir-Rhyne, 1:30 p.m.
Game 3: Loser Gm 1 vs Loser Gm 2, 4 p.m.
Game 4: Winner Gm 1 vs Winner Gm 2, 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 29 (Hickory, N.C.)
Game 5: Loser Gm 4 vs Winner Gm 3, 12:00 p.m.
Game 6: Winner Gm 5 vs Winner Gm 4, 2:30 p.m.

Sunday, April 30 (Hickory, N.C.)
Game 7: Loser Gm 6 vs Winner Gm 6, 12:00 p.m. (if necessary)
