Lenoir-Rhyne's Beeler Named D2CCA Regional Pitcher of the Year; 12 Student-Athletes Named to All-Region Team

ROCK HILL, SC (TheSAC.com) - The 2023 D2CCA All-Region Teams have been announced with 12 SAC student-athletes earning All-Region honors and Lenoir-Rhyne's Morgan Beeler being named the D2CCA Regional Pitcher of the Year. 

Beeler, the SAC Pitcher of the Year, led the conference with 38 appearances, 22 wins, five saves, and 197 strikeouts. She was second in the conference with a 2.45 ERA and 28 games started. She also helped lead the Bears to their 15th NCAA Tournament appearance.

Carson-Newman and Lenoir-Rhyne both had three student-athletes named, while Anderson, Catawba, Emory & Henry, Lincoln Memorial, Newberry, and Wingate each had one. The South Atlantic Conference led the Region with 12 student-athletes named (7 first team and 5 second team).
