Three South Atlantic Conference Players Named to 2023 D2CCA Softball All-America Team

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Three South Atlantic Conference softball players were named to the 2023 D2CCA Softball All-America Team, the Conference Commissioners Association announced Wednesday afternoon (May 24). 

The D2CCA All-America and All-Region softball teams, which are selected by College Sports Communications (CSC) members from schools playing Division II softball, were first established in 2007. This year represents the eighth year in which the Division II Conference Commissioners Association solely sponsored the program.

Anderson's Kayson Boatner earned Second Team honors as a first baseman, while Carson-Newman's Macauley Bailey earned Second Team honors as a designated player. Lenoir-Rhyne's Talon LaClair earned Third Team honors as a third baseman.
