LMU's Strickland Named SAC Softball Tournament MVP; All-Tournament Team Announced

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial's Brooke Strickland was tabbed the 2026 South Atlantic Conference Championship MVP as voted by the tournament participant head coaches, the Conference announced today. The panel also selected an 11-member All-Tournament Team.

Strickland, a junior pitcher, led the Railsplitters to the championship by going 5-0 in tournament play and beating each of the number 1, 2 and 3 seeds to win it all over the weekend. In tournament play, Strickland went 3-0 with 1 save in her four appearances, covering 19 innings. She allowed just nine earned runs and had a 3.32 earned run average to go with a complete game.  

LMU led the way with five players named to the All-Tournament Team, followed by Carson-Newman and Anderson two. Below is a look at the 2026 SAC Softball Championship All-Tournament Team.
