Hobbs and Bailey Named D2CCA Softball All-Americans
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference placed two student-athletes on the 2026 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Softball All-America Teams, the organization announced.
Highlighting the SAC selections was Carson Hobbs of Anderson, who earned First Team All-America honors as the designated player.
Macauley Bailey of Carson-Newman was named a Third Team All-American at first base.
The SAC was one of eight conferences nationally to place multiple players on the D2CCA All-America teams, finishing with one First Team selection and one Third Team honoree.
West Texas A&M's Jordyn De Los Santos was named the 2026 D2CCA Ron Lenz Player of the Year, while Gwen McGinnis of University of Tampa earned Ron Lenz Pitcher of the Year honors.
The D2CCA All-America teams recognize the top NCAA Division II softball student-athletes from across the nation and are selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
