The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week, Jan. 12
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Mars Hill guard Camille Glymph has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 5-11, the League announced today.
Glymph, a junior from Greenville, S.C., averaged 25 points per game to lead the Lions to a 1-1 record last week. She got her week started with 25 points on 47 percent from the field to go along with 3-of-5 from downtown and six from the line in a narrow 75-72 loss against Carson-Newman on Jan. 7. She also pulled down three rebounds and came away with three steals and an assist against the Eagles. Three days later vs. Newberry, Glymph stayed hot as she poured in 25 points in a 65-61 win over the Wolves. She added four boards and two assists in the win. The honor marks her first Player of the Week selection this season.
