The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Catawba guard Serna Brown has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 4-11, the League announced today.

Brown, a senior from Washington, Md., helped the Indians win their only game on the week. She recorded 17 points as she shot 58.3 percent from the field and brought down 13 rebounds and four assists in the 70-58 victory over Tusculum on Dec. 9. The award is her first Player of the Week plaudit this season.
