ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson's women's basketball team continues their prominence in the latest D2SIDA national rankings, earning the No. 10 slot, while tabbed No. 16 by WBCA.

The Trojans (23-2, 17-0 SAC) are on a 21-game winning streak, earning two SAC victories during the week to remain in the national standings. Anderson leads Division II in defensive rebounds per game with 33. The Trojans are also sixth in rebounds per game with 45.80, seventh with 1145 total rebounds, seventh in three-point field goal defense (26.3%), seventh in rebound margin (+10.0), and eighth in field-goal percentage defense (34.4%).

Individually across Division II, junior guard Alexy Mollenhauer ranks third in defensive rebounds per game (9.0), while also tied for fourth in double-doubles (17), fifth in total rebounds with 288, and 10th in rebounds per game (11.5).                                                                                                                                                      

In the D2SIDA southeast regional rankings, four spots belonged to SAC teams. Anderson hangs on to the No. 1 spot and Carson-Newman rises to No. 4. Wingate falls to No. 5, while Tusculum stays at No. 7.

The Trojans (23-2, 17-0 SAC) are the No. 1 team in the region for the seventh week and No. 10/16 in the nation, collecting all six first-place votes. On the week, Anderson earned wins versus regionally-ranked Carson-Newman and Coker. The Trojans defeated the Eagles 72-63 and the Cobras 93-48, to extend their winning streak to 21 games.

The Eagles (19-6, 12-5 SAC) rise to No. 4 in the southeast, after splitting their two contests. Carson-Newman fell to nationally-ranked Anderson (72-63), but routed Catawba (90-57).

The Bulldogs (18-6, 13-4 SAC) fell to fifth in the region, losing to Lenoir-Rhyne (66-62) and dominating Mars Hill (95-52).

The Pioneers (18-6, 10-6 SAC) remain at No. 7 in the southeast after going 2-0 on the week. Tusculum had convincing victories over both Mars Hill (67-32) and Lenoir-Rhyne (82-57).
