Anderson's Mollenhauer Named Astroturf Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) –The South Atlantic Conference announced the AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the twelfth week of the 2019-20 season. Anderson's Alexy Mollenhauer earns this week's Player of the Week honor.

A senior guard, Mollenhauer helped lead the Trojans to a perfect 2-0 conference record this past weekend, equaling her career high 30 points and 10 rebounds against Queens. She then went on to beat her career high with 31 points and 14 rebounds versus Carson-Newman. Overall the Lindale, Tx. native pulled together 61 points shooting 47.6 percent from the floor, while also recording five blocked shots and six assists in the thrilling win over the Eagles. This is Mollenhauer's fourth Player of the Week honor of the season.
