Anderson, Tusculum and Carson-Newman all Advance to the NCAA DII Southeast Regional

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Three South Atlantic Conference women's basketball teams will continue their season after earning bids to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional. Tusculum, Anderson, and Carson-Newman earned spots, with the Trojans taking the higher seed of three at No. 3.

The Trojans (26-5, 19-3 SAC) are sitting at No. 3/20 in the nation after wrapping up their 2019-20 season. Anderson collected the conference regular season title for the second consecutive year and was this year's runner-up in the SAC Championship.

The Pioneers (24-7, 16-6 SAC) take the No. 4 seed in the southeast after winning the conference championship and earning an automatic bid. The pioneers are set to take on the Belmont Abbey Crusaders this Friday.

The Eagles (22-8, 17-5 SAC) are No. 6 in the region after falling out of the conference tournament in the semifinals.
