Limestone's Wikstrom Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Golfer of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Limestone's Stina Wikstrom was named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Golfer of the Week for events played during weeks six and seven of the 2021-22 season, the Conference office announced today.

Wikstrom, a sophomore from Gustafs, Sweden, had two top-10 finishes and took home medalist honors at the Flagler Fall Slam. She placed seventh overall at the Buccaneer Classic, a Division I tournament, posting rounds of 72, 70, and 72, while helping lead the Saints to a third place finish as a team. She then shot rounds of 72 and 76 to take home the win at Flagler, while also leading Limestone to first place honors as a team. She finished with four of five rounds at par or under and a stroke average of 72.4.

This is Wikstrom's first SAC Women's Golfer of the Week award of the season. The bi-monthly award is awarded to the top golfer in the SAC based on their results from the previous two weeks of play.
