Five SAC Women's Golf Teams Ranked in Latest NCAA South Region Ranking

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted five teams in the NCAA South Region Women's Golf Rankings.  Anderson came in at No. 2, with Limestone checking in at No. 5, Wingate is No. 11, with Carson-Newman coming in at No. 12, and Lenoir-Rhyne earned the No. 14 spot.

The Trojans are currently ranked No. 6 nationally according to the Women's Golf Coaches Association Poll. Limestone is ranked No. 4 nationally, Carson-Newman is No. 17, and Wingate is No. 19.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
