Play Halted Due to Weather at Day One of Women's Golf National Championship
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLA. -- The first day of the NCAA Division II Women's National Championship could not be completed due to weather and is scheduled to resume tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
Anderson made it through nine holes and sits in third place with a team score of +3. The team fired three birdies in the early going before the weather hit, led by two from Aly Francis.
Wingate was able to finish their first round before weather shut it down and finished with a +11 to come in a tie for eighth place. Unsuprisingly, Amely Bochaton is first among all golfers at this round with a score of 68 (-4). She finished the day with four birdies and no bogeys and shot identical 34's on the front and back nine.
