Queens Earns First NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship Berth in South Atlantic Conference History
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's lacrosse team advances to the NCAA DII Women's Lacrosse Championship for the first time in program history. The Royals currently hold a 17-2 record after winning their third straight South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Title and Championship.
Queens, seeded sixth, will take on third seeded Mercyhurst University. The Lakers, currently ranked eighth in the nation, also sit at 17-2 on the year after winning the PSAC Regular Season Title and Championship.
The Royals will travel to take on Mercyhurst at Lindenwood in St. Charles, Mo., on Friday, May 13.
