Two SAC Women's Lacrosse Teams Ranked in NCAA DII South Region Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference had two schools ranked in the NCAA South Region Women's Lacrosse poll released by the NCAA on Wednesday (Apr. 20). Queens took the top spot at No. 1 in the rankings, while Wingate took the final spot at No. 6.
In addition to the two SAC schools ranked in this week's poll, Lynn took the No. 2 spot followed by, Embry-Riddle (FL) at No. 3, Rollins at No. 4 and Florida Southern at No. 5.
The SAC women's lacrosse teams will end regular season play this coming weekend.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
