The South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the fifth week of the 2024 season. Limestone swept the weekly awards as Deirdre Jones was named the Offensive Player of the Week and Bailey Stumpf was named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Jones, a freshman from Manahawkin, N.J., helped lead Limestone to a pair of wins with a seven-point week. She scored two goals in each game, while adding an assist vs Lander and two assists vs Lincoln Memorial.

Stumpf, a senior from Fisherville, Ky., recorded nine ground balls, won eight draw controls, and forced 10 turnovers as Limestone won both games on the week. This weekly honor marks Stumpf's third consecutive week receiving the Defensive Player of the Week title.
