Tusculum’s Kelly Barron Named Women’s Soccer Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Tusculum College's Kelly Barron was named the SAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week, conference officials announced today.

Barron, a 5-0 junior forward from Cincinnati, OH (Glen Este HS) scored three goals in the week including the winning goal in the 3-1 victory over King College (Tenn.) on September 8. She scored two goals against King and one goal against Pfeiffer University to help lead No. 14 Tusculum to a 5-2 record on the season. For the week, Barron recorded a .667 shot on goal percentage.

The SAC Player of the Week is determined by a vote of the sports information directors of the league.
