Tusculum’s Danielle Tanner Named Women’s Soccer Player Of The Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Tusculum College's Danielle Tanner was named the SAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week, conference officials announced today. This is the second time this season Tanner has earned the award.
Tanner, a 5-7, senior forward from Toronto, Ontario, Canada,
found the back of the net four times last week against a pair of
conference opponents to raise her season total to 12 goals through
nine matches. Tanner scored two goals, including the match-winner,
and added an assist against Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday. Tanner
followed her performance against LMU with two goals and one assist
against Brevard on Saturday. Tanner currently leads the Pioneers
with 12 goals, four assists, and 28 points so far this season.
The SAC Player of the Week is determined by a vote of the sports information directors of the league.
