Catawba's Capel Named 2021 SAC Women's Soccer Elite 20 Award Winner

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Catawba's senior midfielder Maddie Capel was honored as the 2021 SAC Women's Soccer Elite 20 Award winner on Friday (Nov. 12).

This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 20 team championship sports.

Capel, a senior from Harrisburg, N.C., has a 4.0 GPA while majoring in Communications.
