Five SAC Women's Soccer Teams Under Consideration in First NCAA Southeast Region Ranking

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted five teams in the NCAA Southeast Region Women's Soccer Rankings.  Carson-Newman, Catawba, Lenoir-Rhyne, Limestone, and Wingate are all under consideration for this year's NCAA Southeast Region Championship.

The ten teams currently under consideration were not put in any rank order at this time. The teams will not be put in rank order until next week's ranking.

Carson-Newman is currently 9-3-3 overall, while Catawba is 13-0-2, Lenoir-Rhyne is 8-2-3, Limestone is 9-3-1, and Wingate is 8-3-3.  

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
