The South Atlantic Conference Announces Women's Soccer Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Women's Soccer Players of the Week for matches played during the tenth week of the 2022 season. Lenoir-Rhyne forward Elin Hansson was named the offensive player of the week, while Lenoir-Rhyne goalkeeper S.A. Phillips was named defensive player of the week.

Hansson, a freshman from Halmstad, Sweden, scored a goal and recorded an assist for three points in the Bears' 4-1 win over No. 12 Catawba. With the win the Bears captured the 2022 SAC Women's Soccer Regular Season Title.  

Phillips, a senior from Pawleys Island, S.C., allowed just one goal and made two saves in the Bears' 4-1 win over No. 12 Catawba to capture the regular season title.
