Wingate drops heartbreaker in PKs in NCAA Tourney opener against #22 North Georgia
Salisbury, N.C.----The third-seeded and 22nd-ranked University of North Georgia Nighthawks and sixth-seeded Wingate University Bulldogs played to a 1-1 draw through 110 minutes of action in the opening round of the 2023 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional women's soccer tournament. The Nighthawks advanced, prevailing 3-1 in penalty kicks to move on to the regional semifinals. UNG moves to 14-3-4 overall, while Wingate's season ends at 14-4-2.
#9 Women's Soccer runs by UNC Pembroke in NCAA First Round for Coach Brown's 100th career win
Salisbury, N.C. —- The second-seeded Catawba women's soccer team ran past seventh-seeded UNC Pembroke in the first round of the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Tournament Thursday evening at Frock Field. Catawba head coach Nick Brown earned his 100th career win in the victory.

Ehmer's late equalizer and OT winner propels #9 Women's Soccer to region final
Salisbury, N.C. —- Catawba freshman forward Bree Ehmer scored an equalizer in the 87th minute before scoring the game-winner in overtime in the 9th-ranked women's soccer team's thrilling 2-1 overtime over North Georgia to advance to its first regional final since 2005.

Bears Edge Columbus State in Thrilling PK Shootout to Advance
Hickory, N.C.- The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer was down to their last fifty-five seconds of the season before Elin Hansson headed the ball into the back of the net after a corner kick to force overtime. In overtime, Nicole Auger scored in the 95th minute but Columbus State found the equalizer with just three minutes to go to force a PK shootout. During the shootout, The Bears were up 3-2 when Neve Duston scored to advance the Bears to their 4th ever regional final. The Bears will now face Catawba for the third time this season on December 1st.
