Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba Remain in the Top 25
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) -- For the third straight week, Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba are nationally ranked women's soccer programs as the United Soccer Coaches announced its weekly poll. This is the third poll of the season released by the organization.
Lenoir-Rhyne jumped up two spots from No. 13 to No. 11 in this week's poll. The Bears defeated nationally-ranked Florida Tech 3-2 on Tuesday and followed that with a 5-0 win over Emory & Henry on Saturday to improve to 3-0-2 overall and 1-0-1 in the SAC.
Catawba dropped to No. 19 in the national poll after posting a 2-2 tie with Carson-Newman at home on Wednesday and then winning at Lincoln Memorial 3-0 on Saturday.
