Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba Women's Soccer Remain Nationally Ranked
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) -- For the fifth straight week, Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba are nationally ranked women's soccer programs as the United Soccer Coaches announced its weekly poll. This is the fifth poll of the season released by the organization.
Lenoir-Rhyne jumped up one spot from No. 9 to No. 8 in this week's poll. The Bears won a pair of SAC matches last week, defeating Andrson 2-0 and Newberry 2-1. LR remains unbeaten at 6-0-3 and are 4-0-1 in SAC play.
Catawba dropped two spots from No. 17 to No. 19 despite a couple of wins. Catawba dispatched of Coker 4-0 on Wednesday and then topped Anderson 5-1 on Saturday. Catawba is also unbeaten at 6-0-3 and 4-0-1 in SAC action.
