Coker's Rausch and Tusculum's Tartrou Earn SAC WePlayed Sports Weekly Honor

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Women's Soccer Players of the Week for matches played during week nine of the 2024 season. Coker's Mila Rausch was named the Offensive Player of the Week while Tusculum's Noemie Tartrou brought home Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Rausch, a senior from Schluechtern, Germany, netted a pair of goals and added an assist for a five point week for the Cobras who had wins over Allen and Mars Hill. She had two goals on three shots against Allen, including the game-winner, and followed that up with an assist on the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Mars Hill. Rausch is the second straight Coker player to earn Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Tartrou, a sophomore from Herblay-sur-Seine, France, made three saves for her first career shutout in a 5-0 win over Mars Hill on Wednesday. On Saturday, she made 17 saves, tied for the second-most in a single match in program history, in a 2-1 loss to 9th-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne. Tartrou had a .909 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average in two matches.
