Wingate's Sanocki Named South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Women's Swimmer of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate's Lily Sanocki was named the South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Women's Swimmer of the Week for meets competed in during the seventh week of the 2022-23 season, the Conference office announced today.
Sanocki, a senior from Charlotte, N.C., collected two gold medals and three bronzes as the No. 7 Bulldogs won the SCAD Savannah Invitational for the 12th time. Individually, Sanocki won the 400 IM (4:25.90) and the 200 Breaststroke (2:15.90), posting NCAA Division II B cuts in each event. She earned bronze medals in the 200 IM, the 100 Breaststroke, and the 400 Medley Relay.
