LMU’s Leah Donoff Named Women’s Tennis Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, SC -- Lincoln Memorial University's Leah Donoff has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending March 8, announced conference officials Wednesday.

Donoff, a sophomore from Tipp City, Ohio (Tippecanoe HS), went 2-0 in singles on the week, with both wins being at No. 1. On Thursday, she defeated Union College's Diane Proteau 6-1, 6-1 and on Monday, she defeated Anderson's Camie Beaulieu-Brune 6-2, 6-1.

In doubles action, Donoff and partner Sofia Lopez Mimendi improved to 7-0 on the season as they defeated Union's Proteau and Ximena Aguilar 8-1 and Anderson's Shelby Anderson and Beaulieu-Brune 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.
