Anderson's Dean Named AstroTurf Women's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson's Laura Dean has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played February 18 through February 24, the Conference announced today.

Dean, a senior from Georgetown, S.C., went undefeated in her matches last week, winning both her singles and doubles matches against USC Aiken. Dean and partner Mirna Curcic won 6-2 at No. 1 doubles. She then won a thrilling three-set match at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-7, 6-0.

This is Dean's first Player of the Week selection this season.
